Beaufort Culinary Bicycle Tour

Join Hungry Town Tours of Beaufort on a culinary bicycle tour for the Beaufort Culinary Tour. This is your chance to tour and sample several of Beaufort’s best restaurants all in one trip by bicycle. You’ll start at the waterfront and pedal through the historic streets, stopping at several of the best local culinary treasures. Inside, you’ll nosh and sip on some of the most delicious flavors on the Crystal Coast. You’ll enjoy delicious seafood, wine tastings, and more! They’ll give you the inside scoop on the restaurants and people that make them great.
Your guide will share stories about Beaufort’s unique history, with a particular interest in the many ways that food (and the search for it) has shaped America’s favorite town. The single-speed, foot-brake beach cruiser bicycles provide the perfect laid-back transportation to tour Beaufort.
Tour participants will make five stops during the tour including three restaurants and a wine tasting. In addition, participants will stop at Beaufort Olive Oil Company where they have paired a few of their oils and vinegars in recipes for people to create their own culinary dishes at home
The Beaufort Culinary Tour will take place during “Toast to the Coast Restaurant Week” from March 23-28, 2015. Tours will be conducted Monday thru Saturday starting at 12 Noon during that week. Ages 21 yrs. old and up.
Hungry Town Tours are limited to a maximum of eight participants, allowing for a more of an intimate and manageable group that offers you maximum enjoyment. The culinary tour will last approximately 3 - 3.25 hours.
The cost for the Beaufort Culinary Bike Tour is $69 per person. This is an all-inclusive tour and includes your local guide, food samples, wine tasting, some drinks (alcoholic beverages are additional), taxes and restaurant gratuities. Bike rental for the tour is free.
