Attendees (Biters) walked beautiful downtown Morehead for a Bite (appetizer) at each restaurant and at selected businesses that housed off-site participating restaurants from all over Carteret County. Each location tempted palates with a delightful bite in order to entice them back for a visit during the week of Toast to the Coast for a meal! "Biters" were entertained by various Jazz ensembles along the route as they ventured along the waterfront.

At the end of the night, "biters" chose their favorite BITE OF THE NITE! The winning restaurant, SoundSide Restaurant served filet napolen - seared beef tenderloin medallion with blue cheese, applewood smoked bacon with tomatoes and balsamic glaze - and was declared the white plate as theirs for the year, along with bragging rights amongst their peers.

Proceeds will be used for funding county wide scholarships given by the NC Seafood Festival.
